Cowley County Sheriff David Falletti Endorses Darren Chambers
" I have been employed by the Belle Plaine Police Department for 15 years as a Full-Time Certified Police Officer. I have known Sheriff Darren Chambers since he was appointed as Sheriff of Sumner County in 2011.
My working relationship with Sheriff Chambers has been professional and I have no reason to believe for that to change in the future. Darren has always offered his agency’s resources to assist our agency’s needs with a simple phone call. Darren and I have maintained an open line of communication as leaders of our respective agencies. As a new Police Chief going on three years, I have reached out to Darren for advice, his thoughts and perspectives on several different issues I have been faced with.
Darren is always willing to help in any way he can and recently assisted our agency in getting a vehicle we could use for our DARE program. I have also had good working relationships with Sumner County Deputies working under Sheriff Chambers over the last 9 years.
With Darren’s experience, professionalism, integrity, and many other values I have no reason not to support the re-election of Darren Chambers as the Sheriff of Sumner County, Kansas."
Bill Berry, Belle Plaine Chief of Police
